Volunteer reviewer call

Help us review kidney education carefully.

RenalShield is seeking credentialed professionals and supervised trainees for small, private review assignments. Review one item, a short set, or a role-specific packet—every decision stays tied to the exact text reviewed.

Five bounded lanes

Choose the work that fits your expertise.

The current review set contains 59 candidate passages. Counts overlap because some passages need more than one specialty. Volunteers may accept a smaller subset.

42 routed items

Renal RD or RDN

Food, nutrition, dialysis, and individualized diet-language review.

48 routed items

Nephrology or dialysis

Clinical accuracy, uncertainty, escalation, and kidney-care context.

5 routed items

Licensed pharmacist

Medication, supplement, interaction, and product-safety language.

26 routed items

Plain language

Understandability and accessibility, scored separately from clinical approval.

1 critical item

Clinical safety

Emergency and dialysis-access escalation language.

Exact-hash workflow

A review process designed to respect your time.

Express interest

Tell us your role, credentials, and the amount you can review.

Confirm scope

We verify the reviewer lane and agree on a bounded assignment.

Receive privately

You receive only the relevant candidate text, hashes, sources, and forms.

Record a decision

Approve, require edits, reject, or mark an item outside your scope.

Preserve evidence

Edits receive a new hash. Trainee work requires supervisor countersignature.

What counts as clinical review

  • Reviewer identity, credentials, role, and review date
  • A decision tied to the exact candidate SHA-256
  • Comments, evidence, or required edits where relevant
  • Supervisor countersignature for trainee review
  • A separate owner release decision after every required role is complete

Privacy and independence

  • Do not send protected health information or patient records.
  • Institutional endorsement is neither requested nor implied.
  • Conflicts and organizational affiliations are disclosed.
  • Patient feedback and readability scores do not replace clinical review.
  • A volunteer can stop or narrow the assignment at any time.
Research partnership

Can your institution host the evaluation?

We are also seeking a qualified academic or clinical partner to appoint a responsible investigator, determine the appropriate research or quality-improvement pathway, and supervise a prospective evaluation of this version-governed education workflow.

Discuss a research partnership

Prospective and fail-closed

  • No participant recruitment or research data collection has begun.
  • The responsible institution—not RenalShield—must issue the research/QI/IRB determination.
  • The protocol, instruments, analysis plan, consent, and privacy controls must be approved before use.
  • A preprint is not journal peer review, and publication remains a separate decision.
  • No paid submission or open-access service is requested.

Can you review even one item?

A focused review is useful. Include your role, credentials, preferred lane, and realistic scope. We will confirm the assignment before sharing private draft material.

Please do not include patient-identifiable information. Sending an inquiry does not create a clinical relationship or institutional endorsement.
